6-Month Contract with Potential Extension
Curaga Healthcare Group is seeking a qualified Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to support diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current CMRITO registration required
- C.A.M.R.T. and/or O.A.M.R.S. registration with appropriate liability insurance
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Experience performing general X-ray examinations
- Experience assisting with and/or performing gastrointestinal fluoroscopy examinations
- CT experience preferred; candidates willing to complete CT training will be considered
- Strong computer and word-processing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using available equipment in accordance with established radiology policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of imaging documentation
- Work independently and collaboratively within the healthcare team
- Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, privacy, and professionalism
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity when providing care to the population served
- Participate in the after-hours call rotation, including evenings and weekends as required
Schedule
- Regular scheduled shifts
- After-hours, evening, and weekend on-call availability required
