Newmar Window Manufacturing Inc. is a dynamic, well established company offering an exciting range of window and door products. We are part of the Alpa Lumber Group of companies specializing in the manufacture and supply of building materials for over 65 years.
We are looking for dedicated, self-motivated individuals to join our expanding team to transport finished doors and windows to locations across the GTA.
Responsibilities:
· Resolving assigned end-user technical support issues, escalating to Network Administrator as required
· Installation and troubleshooting of computer software and peripherals
· Assist Network Administrator with deployment of computers and other peripheral installations
· Respond to email messages for users seeking IT help
· Maintain IT Asset Inventory
· Documentation of system
· Other duties as assigned by IT Director
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Must be consistently punctual, dependable and reliable
· Proven experience providing in an IT Help Desk role or other customer support role in the IT field
· College diploma or degree in relevant field (Networking, Technical Support, etc.)
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Experience with PC software and hardware installation and setup
· Solid technical support experience with Windows 10 & 7 setup and configuration
· Experience with printer and peripheral installation and driver setup
· Familiar with MS Office / Officer 365
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
· Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
· Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
· Travel to a secondary site, as necessary (within 15 mins from primary location) Must have valid Ontario G driver’s license
