Couture Landscape Group is looking to hire an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman with experience in Interlock Retaining Walls, Planting, Masonry, and Valid G license.
Summary of Position:
You will be responsible for leading a crew of 2-4 and performing daily jobs focusing on concrete work, but ranging from interlocking, patio work, retaining walls, grading, planting, and other task to and ensure the project is moving along at the correct pace.
Job Description:
- Be on time daily with your day plan, truck, tools, and materials ready to go for your crew
- Read and interpret scaled drawings/blueprints to determine the specifications and materials required for a job
- Be the main point of contact on site for both office management and clients.
- Keep track of job site daily expenses to help control and keep down cost

- Self motivated individuals with the ability to oversee the completion of a project from start to finish
- Ability to think ahead and pre-order materials or reserve equipment so time on job site is not lost.
- Ability to efficiently organize and run a team on site.
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Knowledge and ability to work with specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Flexible working hours
Qualifications:
- Excellent understanding of landscape drawings, tools, equipment, concepts, techniques, hardscape materials, and installation procedures
- Must have extensive knowledge of the concrete field and carpentry experience.
- Great oral and written communication skills to work with other employees and trades
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience operating a bobcat and/or excavator is an asset
- General knowledge and experience working with building codes and city by-laws in the GTA
- Must possess a valid G driver’s license
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
