Overview
Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill in Arnprior is looking for a professional, energetic, and customer-focused Host/Expo to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming first impression for our guests while ensuring smooth coordination between the front-of-house and kitchen.
As a Host/Expo, you will be the face of the restaurant at the door and a key support system in delivering efficient, high-quality service during busy hours.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude
- Manage waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently
- Maintain strong communication with servers and kitchen staff
- Ensure food is plated, organized, and delivered accurately and promptly
- Assist in running food and supporting servers during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and expo area
- Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate wait times
- Ensure a smooth flow of service from kitchen to table
- Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a restaurant (host, expo, or similar role) is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a professional appearance
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and holidays required)
