We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
