Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing guests with a clean and comfortable experience, contributing to the overall excellence of our hotel services. Prior hotel experience and familiarity with laundry procedures are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines such as washers and dryers efficiently to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for distribution throughout the hotel
- Ensure all laundry items meet cleanliness and quality standards before delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including equipment and workspaces
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and detergents
- Follow safety protocols related to handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and towels
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with laundry operations or cleaning services is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards
