Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking, welding, and fabrication processes, with the ability to interpret blueprints. This role involves working with various tools and machinery to produce metal components .
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints/shop drawings.
- Operate welding equipment including MIG welders to assemble metal components.
- Use plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Rig and position materials using cranes or forklifts as needed for fabrication tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in structural steel fabrication
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery operation including cranes, forklifts, and hand/power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy materials safely.
Pay: From $42.00 per hour
