Forbes GM is currently seeking a Lube Technician to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.
Purpose/Summary of Position:
The Lube Technician is responsible to service vehicles, including providing preventative and routine maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- Perform Certified Service including preventative and routine maintenance on vehicles.
- Changing Oil, Oil Filters, Air Filters, Light Bulbs, and checking fluids.
- Changing, balancing and rotating tires.
- Maintaining tidiness of the shop
- Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- WHIMIS standards to ensure chemicals/equipment is being handled in a safe manor & ensure you are compliant in using them.
- Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
Candidates must possess:
Valid driver’s license

Minimum High School Diploma
- Strong work ethic with an attention to detail, reliable and punctual
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
