We are seeking a dynamic Support Services Manager to lead our support services team and enhance the overall quality of life for our residents.
Position Overview:
The Environmental Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of all Laundry and Housekeeping services within our long-term care home. This role includes managing daily operations, staffing, training and coaching team members, and coordinating services that enhance resident care and facility efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention, and resident-focused service throughout the home.
- Manage inventory, order and receive supplies, and assist with in-house deliveries to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct audits, review front-line workflows and practices, and identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
- Implement process improvements and work closely with leadership to support continuous quality improvement and operational excellence.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within laundry, housekeeping, healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to perform job requirements and duties.
