Under the supervision of the branch manager, the inside salesperson must be able to sell products and/or services of APA to our customers. Any industry experience is an asset.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conduct outbound phone calls to customers and deliver comprehensive call reports to managers/supervisors.
- Prepare quotes and process orders generated from outbound calls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow up promptly on quotes, providing detailed status updates to management and offering insights on outcomes.
- Perform inventory cycle counts to familiarize oneself with our product offerings and their locations within the branch.
- Participate in annual inventory activities to contribute to accurate stock management.
- Manage walk-in traffic and handle incoming calls at the counter to provide exceptional customer service.
- Meet daily and monthly sales quotas to drive business success and achieve targets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Grade 12 or better education is required.
- Experience: Security sales or Door Hardware experience an asset
- Knowledge: Product knowledge an asset but not necessary we will train.
- Skills: Ability to cultivate relationships with customers and the ability to prospect new customers. Attention to detail is a must. Basic computer skills and the knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel. Ability to type 44 wpm.
