PWC Plumbing Inc. is a growing residential plumbing company serving Barrie, Simcoe County, and the surrounding communities. As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an organized, customer-focused individual to become the first point of contact for our clients.
We're seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Service Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, and can confidently coordinate the day-to-day operations of a busy plumbing company.
We are looking to have this position filled for the first week of September.
About the Role
As the CSR/Service Coordinator, you'll be the hub of our daily operations. You'll answer incoming calls, schedule service appointments, coordinate our plumbing technicians, communicate with customers, prepare invoices, and help ensure each day runs efficiently from start to finish.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, multitasking, problem-solving, and creating outstanding customer experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and confidently.
- Respond to emails, online inquiries, and customer messages promptly.
- Schedule plumbing service appointments efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after each job.
- Keep customers updated on technician arrival times and schedule changes.
- Follow up with clients after completed work to ensure satisfaction.
Dispatch & Scheduling
- Coordinate daily schedules for plumbing technicians.
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency.
- Prioritize emergency service calls.
- Monitor technician progress throughout the day.
- Communicate schedule adjustments clearly with both customers and field staff.
Office Administration
- Prepare invoices, and work orders.
- Process customer payments.
- Maintain accurate customer records using Jobber.
- Order office supplies and assist with administrative tasks.
- Assist with warranty claims and supplier communications.
- Support management with daily operations and special projects.
Team Support
- Help keep the office organized and running smoothly.
- Work closely with technicians to ensure successful job completion.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
- Contribute to creating a positive, team-oriented workplace.
QualificationsRequired
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service, office administration, dispatch, or coordinator role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage changing priorities.
- Positive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred (Assets)
- Experience working in the plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or construction industry.
- Experience with Jobber or similar service management software.
- Knowledge of invoicing and scheduling software.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Basic bookkeeping or administrative experience.
