Job Summary
We are a Calgary Plumbing Company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong admin skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft products and QuickBooks. This role involves managing various administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience within the plumbing industry (or another trade) is a plus. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting where organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.
Duties
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks for administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, basic bookkeeping etc.
- Process specifications and orders
- Quickbooks bill entries and invoicing
- Maintain organizational systems to ensure files are up-to-date and easily accessible
- Support Field Operations
- Prior office experience is preferred, especially in a trade environment
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and data entry procedures is highly desirable
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills
- Previous bookkeeping or trades/builder experience will be considered a plus
