Start Date: July 2026
Role Purpose
Own the daily operations of Benji's: keep technician routes running smoothly, support the team in the field, prepare installs, and ensure quality plant care for every client. This role is remote-first, with occasional site visits (approx. twice a month) and in-person team meetings.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end delivery of tropical plant maintenance on a recurring basis. Plan and adjust technician routes each week, ensuring work is done well and clients are happy.
- Lead and manage our team of technicians - managing expectations, careers, and compensation.
- Support new sales, including site walk-throughs, quoting, and design oversight.
- Plan and adjust weekly technician routes; handle same-day changes.
- Check in daily with each technician to confirm schedules, needs, and any site issues.
- Prepare install packets; coordinate plant and planter logistics; assign Install Captain.
- Review technician checklists, notes, and photos for quality control.
- Approve and coordinate minor purchases or replacements.
- Maintain inventory of tools, soil, and treatments; arrange pickups or deliveries.
- Visit client sites as needed for installs, troubleshooting, or relationship building.
- Host and coordinate regular team meetings.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 2-5+ years in operations, field service, facilities, or similar.
- Strong communicator who can manage multiple moving parts calmly.
- Organized and detail-oriented; comfortable using spreadsheets and checklists.
- Able to work independently while supporting a remote team.
- GTA-based with access to a vehicle for occasional site visits.
- Uses AI to problem solve, streamline, and automate.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience managing technicians or crews.
- Familiarity with indoor plant care or horticulture.
