Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Counter Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent guest services, managing daily operations at the front desk, and ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-focused, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Experience working with children, public speaking, and hospitality skills are highly valued.
Duties
- Greet guests and visitors warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance registers at the end of shifts
- Provide information about services, programs, or events offered
- Assist with food service operations when necessary, including serving or preparing light snacks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct guests to appropriate departments or staff
- Support event setup or activities that involve guest interaction or entertainment for children
- Engage with children in a friendly manner during activities or programs
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, guest services, or food service is preferred
- Ability to work well with children and create a welcoming environment
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and active listening
- Cash handling experience with attention to accuracy and accountability
- Friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or special events as needed
