We are currently looking for a part time Mechanic Shop Helper to join our thriving team.
Job Description:
As a Mechanic Shop Helper, you will assist our skilled mechanics in various tasks to ensure smooth shop operations.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting mechanics with vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks
- Cleaning and organizing the workshop and tools
- Handling parts and supplies, including inventory management
- Conducting routine inspections and basic repairs under supervision
- Adhering to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Performing other tasks as required to support the team
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in automotive technology and repair
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in a mechanic shop is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Valid G lisence
- Experience with oil changes an asset
