Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic and Dentrix. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilized and ready.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry.
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Provide post-treatment instructions and educate patients on oral health care.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Support front desk duties as needed, including greeting patients and scheduling appointments, especially if experienced as a dental receptionist.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and assist in inventory management of dental supplies.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program.
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Experience or familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, or medical terminology is preferred.
- Knowledge of CAD applications related to dental imaging is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience working as a dental receptionist or in administrative roles within a dental practice is beneficial but not required. Pay: From $24.00 per hour
