Administrative Assistant Bilingual (French & English) - Full-Time (1.0) EFT
$20.11 - $23.18/hour
Summary of Position:
- Providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
- Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both English and French via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains front office area providing support by greeting and supporting visitors, answering basic inquiries on services and/or referring questions to the appropriate staff.
- Coordinate, prioritize, and track the flow and distribution of mail, telephone, and electronic information.
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Maintain staff appointment schedules (booking, cancelling, rescheduling appointments)
- Manages supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies.
- Filing and other administrative/office duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school and a recognized administrative/office assistant program
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of administrative assistant experience preferably in a community health organization
- Knowledge of healthcare operations
- Proficiency in use of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
- Experience with Accuro preferred
- Child/Adult Abuse and Criminal Record Checks required
- Demonstrated fluency in French
