Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential contributor to various building projects, assisting with a wide range of tasks that require technical expertise and hands-on skills. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your craft while working on diverse construction sites.
Duties
- Assist in the layout and construction of various partitions/ceilings/bulkheads
- Assist in the installation of drywall panels
-Assist in the process of drywalling taping/coating/sanding.
-Help to maintain and clean and safe work site
-Assist in painting/caulking
Skills
- Proficiency in general carpentry/drywall finishing/painting
- Proficiency in reading blue prints is not necessary but is an asset
We are looking for a well rounded individual who is looking for an opportunity to grow with a growing company. General knowledge/skills of listed trades above is an asset but most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a great attitude with willingness to learn and adapt. Majority of our work is drywall related, but with being a small company we take on jobs that extend into related trades (Carpentry/insulation/painting).
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
