About the Role:
As a Community Activity Worker, you'll play a meaningful role in supporting older adults and other program participants to live active, engaging, and fulfilling lives. Working within the Adult Day Program, you'll deliver recreational, social, and life skills activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being while encouraging clients to maintain their independence and fully participate possible.
In this rewarding role, you'll assist clients with activities of daily living, adapt activities to meet individual needs, observe and report changes in client well-being, and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, person-centred care. Through your compassion, creativity, and commitment, you'll help create a welcoming environment where clients can build connections, develop confidence, and enjoy meaningful experiences.

- Grade 12 plus and at a minimum graduation from an Activity/Recreation program; or an equivalent combination of current education, training and experience.
- One year recent related experience in an Adult Day Programs (which includes experience in recreation/activation).
- Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
