This position will report directly into the Med Education & Governance Lead and will support the teams on the execution of key educational tactics. The role will work directly with the cross functional teams to coordinate, execute and lead the tactical medical education plans. It will also be accountable for coordinating all documentation associated with medical education events as well as handling the internal approval process. The role will work with external vendors on timelines and communicating execution plans.

Supports the Medical Education & Governance Lead in developing the objectives & plans required to execute medical education initiatives
Supports the development, implementation & coordination of medical educational events for the team
Provides technical and program management expertise to ensure the efficient development of medical education programs
Initiates the payment process in CERPs and handles the budgets & timelines for execution of med ed plans
Works with external vendors for the creation and execution of medical education plans
Supports the creation of MSAs and SOWs
Accountable for TPO process for Vendors and Physician Organizations for medical education activities
Supports the creation of multi-channel tactical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Supports administration and logistics for Med Education activities (eg. webinar coordination, documentation, contacts, COIs)
Work with global and local teams to facilitate contracting of speakers and Moderators
Ensures all tools and resources supporting Med Ed implementation are up to date
Analyzes metrics, industry trends and competitive programs to obtain insights into anticipated educational needs
Supports administration and logistics for Med Education activities (eg. webinar coordination, documentation, logistics)
Monitors and reviews all medical education documentation to ensure it is compliant with internal and external compliance requirements
Supports In-field medical education activities by coordinating & supporting Field Staff in the execution of events
Works with cross-functional teams to communicate and resolve medical education issues
Completes a certified course in CHE
Ensures all processes and local written standards are aligned to IMC Code and compliant to internal and external policies and local regulations

Minimum 2-4 years of pharmaceutical experience, preferable in medical education
Strong attention to detail, prioritization, organization and project management skills required
Demonstrated abilities in the following areas: managing complexity, effective communication and time management skills
Experience interacting with and presenting to senior stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment
In depth knowledge of IMC code and internal compliance policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to evaluate metrics and results to optimize efficiencies and share best in class practices
Proven examples of high learning agility and critical thinking in the development of educational projects is preferred

Bachelor’s Degree (science preferred) or above with 2-4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in clinical research
Knowledge in GSK therapy areas of Respiratory, Vaccines and Oncology would be an advantage
