Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting and safely handling items, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, along with strong communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting.
Duties
- Safely load and unload items using proper moving techniques and equipment
- Operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, in compliance with safety regulations
- Transport goods to and from client locations efficiently and on time
- Assist with packing, securing, and organizing items for transport
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and schedules
Requirements
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or commercial driving preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites
