The Bell Mobility – Procurement & Supply Chain Team is seeking a motivated team player, with proven, reporting and analytical skills. Reporting to the Manager Supply Chain, this individual is to support the business unit by providing timely and accurate Purchasing Documents & Orders of all inventory within Bell’s distribution network (DC and Channels). The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of the Purchasing function for all of Bell's categories (accessories, handsets, M2M devices, Sim Cards, collateral (POS Material) and others.
To succeed in this role, you will need to work as a team to keep our supply chain up to date on business execution, provide business deliverables with a high degree of accuracy, and act as a key point of contact to both the greater Bell team, Vendors and Suppliers.
PO creation & revision, approval management and release to vendors - performed on SAP/P77 and/or email - done to ensure our vendors receive our product request with a formal document, securing supply for the business
Execution of the three way match SOX control points - Review the SAP inbox for invoices pending for payment due to lack of goods receipt confirmations - managing the portion of the SNAG process when applicable to this area (OS&D mostly)
Stat generation for various related areas (Procurement, Finance and Accounts payable) - Performed in SAP/P77 and Excel, provides key information about our function to management (internally) and to the finance, procurement and accounts payable teams
Is a major cog for all the key purchasing functions to deliver with speed and accuracy on their various responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the planning team(s), product managers, vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data, and constructive feedback
Assist in the development of action plans to promote and implement new business initiatives and act as a subject matter expert in purchasing related projects
Planning of Point of Sale collateral and marketing collateral items- Performed on IBP system and Excel with close communication with the product managers. From calculating, the quantities required, through creating the Purchase Order in SAP/P77 and managing the appropriate approval, to releasing the document to vendors
Collecting and publishing of Key Vendor Metrics both internally and directly to our Vendor Partners
Work professionally and collaboratively with our external 3PL partner and Vendors to deliver on key Supply Chain Objectives
Required skills / competencies:
3 to 5 years experience in inventory planning and/or Telecom/Technology products industry
Proven ability in quantitative analysis, data manipulation and data visualization techniques and tools
Proficient with Excel, Access; Microstrategy, SAP & Tableau (data visualization tools) skills are a key asset
A strong business acumen
Excellent knowledge of the telecom industry products (preferred)
Highly motivated, driven by success and desire to work in a challenging environment
Ability to develop proactive relationships with multiple stakeholders
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
