Job Description: Intermediate to Senior Staff Accountant is required to be responsible for providing accounting services to our small and medium sized clients. Located in our Richmond office, the incumbent must be able to work within a confidential environment, be flexible and adaptable to multiple requirements of the role, ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for,
- Preparing month-end reconciliation and filing with government correspondence
- Performing compilation engagements
- Conducting individual & corporate tax filing and planning
- Preparing reports and making presentations to staff and clients as required
- Completion of additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required
Required Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of public practice experience
- Previous experience with Caseware/Caseview, tax filing, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Quickbooks Desktop & Online
- Currently enrolled or completed professional designation program
- A self-starter, problem solver and dedicated worker focused on productivity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent ability to handle multiple projects within tight deadlines
- Immediately available, or available to start at a short notice
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
