Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks when needed to support team efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food industry standards, serving techniques, and food safety protocols is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed must have smart certificate
