Summary
We are seeking a full-time Straight Truck Driver to join our team in Nova Scotia. This role is vital in delivering exceptional moving and transportation services, contributing directly to our company's reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate 20 to 26-foot trucks safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Load and unload items with proper handling, including heavy lifting.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining safety standards.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with moving tasks as needed to support team operations.
- Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Air Brake (Z Endorsement) required
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent driving record.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
