We’re looking for an experienced Part-Time Prep Cook to join our kitchen team.
Requirements:
- Previous prep cook or kitchen experience is required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to communicate effectively in kitchen group chats and respond to work-related messages in a timely manner.
- Friendly, reliable, and respectful
- Treat coworkers with respect and contribute to a positive team environment
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and FIFO inventory management
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vegetables, meats, sauces, and other ingredients according to instructions
- Receive deliveries and properly store all products
- Label and date all food items
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices
- Maintain a clean and organized prep area
- Follow food safety standards
- Assist with daily kitchen operations and stocking
