Job Title: General Foreman
Paving Stone Plus Ltd. is an Edmonton and Area Landscape / Hardscape Contracting Company. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Foreman to join our team. As a General Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape and hardscape projects, ensuring successful execution and adherence to timelines, safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a crew effectively
- Read and interpret blueprints and perform layouts
- Manage project timelines and maintain quality control
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a general foreman role within the landscape or hardscape industry
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Experience in operating Skid Steers, Small Excavators, Tampers and ground compaction equipment
- A Valid and Clean Drivers Licence (Min. Class 5)
- CSTS and other Safety Certifications (First Aid, Whmis, Ground Disturbance, Etc…)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve site-related issues promptly
- Knowledge of landscape installation techniques, materials, and municipal codes
Conditions:
- Seasonal work with long hours during peak seasons
- Wage is commensurate with experience
- Full-time work with overtime premium
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
