Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and transmission issues on various vehicle makes and models
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, brake jobs, and inspections
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and identify vehicle issues
- Repair or replace faulty components to restore proper vehicle operation
- Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed successfully
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards while on the job
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver’s license is an asset but not required
- Prior experience is a plus, but if you have the skills and knowledge, it will be considered
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage ($20–$30/hour depending on skills and qualifications)
Schedule:
- Full-time position: 8-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability
