WEEKEND SEASONAL PRODUCTION / PACKAGING WORKER
Location: Duncan, BC
Shift: Saturday - Sunday | 8AM to 4:30PM
Term: Temporary
Position Summary
Production/Packaging staff are responsible for executing high-speed assembly, packaging, and labeling of finished food products while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume packaging, sealing, and labeling of products
- Follow production schedules and work orders accurately
- Verify weights, portions, and presentation standards
- Apply labels and ensure correct batch/date coding
- Maintain clean and organized workstations (GMP compliance)
- Identify defects and escalate quality concerns immediately
Job Description Requirements
Education & Skills
- Minimum Grade 12
- Strong basic math skills (weights, counts, simple conversions)
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and production sheets
- Food Safe Level 1 required
Core Competencies
- High attention to detail in repetitive tasks
- Ability to maintain speed without sacrificing accuracy
- Works well under pressure and tight timelines
Physical Requirements
- Standing for full shift
- Repetitive motion
- Lifting up to 50 lbs

- Experience in food production or warehouse environments
- Comfortable in fast-paced, metric-driven production
Pay: $18.25-$19.25 per hour
