As an Intermediate Structural Engineer, you'll lead design work with real autonomy, manage client coordination, solve field problems during construction, and review work from junior team members. You'll work across building types and project scales, developing the judgment and leadership skills that move you toward senior-level responsibility without getting buried in administrative work or pigeonholed into one sector.

● Prepare and coordinate design deliverables with guidance from senior staff.
● Develop drawings, details, calculations, and supporting documentation in collaboration with drafting staff.
● Participate in project planning from preliminary design through construction completion.
● Evaluate structural options for compliance, constructability, and cost-effectiveness.
● Coordinate with other disciplines and participate in project meetings.
● Support construction services such as site reviews, shop drawing review, and issue resolution.
● Review work completed by junior staff and assist with technical mentoring.
● Help maintain quality, consistency, and completeness of project deliverables.

● Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
● P.Eng. in Ontario, or close to licensure with demonstrated progress.
● 5+ years of structural engineering experience in building design.
● Strong understanding of structural analysis, design, and detailing for building systems.
● Ability to work independently on assigned design packages and coordinate with project teams.
● Strong working knowledge of Ontario Building Code and CSA structural standards.
● Experience supporting site reviews, design coordination, and construction-phase services.
●Demonstrated proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE for structural analysis and design.
