General Dentist – Maternity Leave Coverage (6 Months)- Potential for Full Time Position

Valley Ridge Dental is seeking a General Dentist to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 6 months. This is a great opportunity to step into a well-established, busy practice with a supportive and experienced team.
We have a well-informed patient base that is proactive about their oral health and receptive to treatment recommendations. Our team is close-knit, collaborative, and supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork and patient care.
Details:
- Term: 6-month maternity leave coverage - Starting approx. October 1, 2026
- Schedule: Full-time
Hours of Work:
- Monday: OFF
- Tuesday: 9-5 PM
- Wednesday: 9-5 PM
- Thursday: 2-7 PM
- Friday: 8:30-2 PM
- Saturday: 9-4 PM/1 Saturday a month
Must be available over the Christmas holiday- Office is closed December 25, 26 & January 1, 2027. Open half days on December 24 and December 31, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry care
- Diagnose, treatment plan, and perform restorative procedures
- Deliver preventative care and patient education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with clinical and front desk teams
- Ensure a positive patient experience
Requirements:
- Licensed General Dentist in good standing in Alberta
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a busy practice
