Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sales / Packing Associate to join our Farm Store. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in a fast-paced environment. Expect to be standing and moving around most of your shift hours.
Duties
- Engage with customers in a courteous, helpful, and respectful manner, promptly and politely responds to customer requests for support. Answer the phone and the email.
- Provide honey sampling to customers, explain the differences in products (where they come from, taste, benefits)
- Process customer transactions through the register. Collect and processes payment from customer and enters into registering system (includes applying discounts, providing receipts and change)
- Ensure all items intended for purchase are identified. Stocking. Return misplaced product, customer returns, and other products gathered in the POS desk to the correct location in the store.
- Arrange products displays and change the tables display every month.
- Duties for opening and closing the store and drawer as required.
- Assist with Honey packing and candles making.
- Keep the place clean (including making sure sidewalk is clean and with antifreezing salt) and in order.
Qualifications
- POS, cash and inventory handling experience
- Able to work on week days or weekends (including Sundays)
- Engage with customers respectfully, politely and promptly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle materials up to 40 pounds regularly
- Able to follow instructions to assist in Honey packing and Candle making
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.30 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
