Pratts Food Service Alberta is a leading Foodservice and Retail distribution company in Western Canada. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Rocky View/Calgary. This individual would be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by proactively identifying customer needs, troubleshooting issues and initiating referrals to appropriate team members.
A large bulk of this position is order entry but there are many other tasks that can change day to day. The ideal candidate will have great time management, the ability to Multi Task and work well under pressure.
Schedule:
- Shift is between 8am-5pm, 5 days a week. Working Monday to Friday with some Sunday to Thursday week shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and team members.
- Communicating and assisting customer with placing orders, concerns and questions.
- Entering orders via phone, fax, and email
- Answering high volume of phone calls and directing to appropriate personnel in a professional manner
- Administrative duties such as processing credit notes, daily reports and modifying spread sheets
The Ideal Candidate:
- Highest level of Customer Service skills, in dealing with difficult situations
- Customer Service experience in a food distribution environment would be ideal
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, in a fast paced atmosphere
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Great attention to detail
- Strong computer skills. Knowledge of the Retalix AS400 system would be an asset, and good working knowledge of Office programs (spreadsheets)
- Must have own transportation
Remuneration:
Salary is dependent on experience level of candidate.
