Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Resident Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience in property management. This role involves coordinating maintenance, managing resident relations, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the property to provide a safe and welcoming environment for residents. The Resident Manager will be a key point of contact for residents and staff, ensuring all aspects of property management are handled efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage leasing processes, including showing units, and processing applications,
- Oversee maintenance requests and coordinate repairs
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety standards and cleanliness are maintained.
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract prospective residents through sales techniques and customer relationship management strategies.
- Enforce community policies and lease agreements while fostering positive relationships with residents.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with residents, prospects, and vendors.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Knowledge of property management practices, leasing procedures, and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems for maintenance tracking is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior experience in sales or customer relationship management is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
