Truck Driver (Full-time)
Summary:
Huebel Grapes Estates is looking for a licenced AZ or DZ Truck Driver, not restricted to automatic, to join our vibrant team. This is an important role in the daily transportation and logistics operation of the vineyard. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely transport grapes, equipment, and supplies to and from the vineyard, winery, and other designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks and other vehicles to transport grapes, equipment, and supplies between vineyard sites, wineries, and storage facilities.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure the safety of goods and prevent damage to vehicles.
- Transport harvested grapes from the vineyard to the winery, maintaining the quality and integrity of the produce.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself, employees, and the public.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with vineyard managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinatetransportation needs.Education and Training:Requirements:
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings during peak seasons.
