Summary
The Customer Service Representative at Standard Auto Wreckers plays a pivotal, business-critical role in the success of our late-model used auto parts operation. This department supports both repair professionals and retail customers after the initial part sale, working to ensure successful installations, reduce costly returns, identify risks and strengthens the long-term viability of the company.
Responsibilities
- Handle high volume telephone-based customer interactions
- Professionally guide customers through concerns, questions, or installation challenges related to their purchases
- Investigate customer claims thoroughly before considering a return or refund
- Work daily with the Sales Manager on escalations, borderline cases, and complex problems
- Maintain accurate reports on every customer transaction
- Process payments and post accurately in our operating system (Auto Recycling specific, full training provided)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or sales roles.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages and asset
- Excellent data entry and analysis skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of auto recycling and / or automotive parts required
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
