We are seeking an experienced Rebar Placer / Reinforcing Ironworker to join our team. The ideal candidate must be skilled at reading structural drawings/blueprints, interpreting bending schedules, and placing rebar accurately according to spec.

Key Responsibilities
- Read & Interpret Blueprints: Accurately read structural drawings, bar bending schedules, and placement drawings.
- Layout & Placement: Position, tie, and secure steel bars, rebar mats, or mesh in formwork before concrete pours.
- Assembly: Cut, bend, and fasten rebar using tie wire, pliers, or rebar tying tools.
- Quality & Spec Check: Ensure concrete cover, bar clearance, lap splices, and spacing strictly meet structural engineering specifications.
- Safety & Coordination: Adhere to all site safety policies (PPE, fall protection) and coordinate effectively with concrete crews and site supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in rebar placement and reinforcing steel work.
- Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and work directly from structural construction drawings and bar lists.
- Tools: Proficiency with hand and power tools (pliers, rebar benders/cutters, tie guns).
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, stand/kneel for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to job sites.
