Southbank is looking for an experienced 310S/T Truck technician to work in our growing Truck Ship
As a Licensed Diesel Truck and Service Technician/ Licensed Apprentice , you’ll be responsible for performing inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations according to Dodge’s high-quality and time standards. Your role will cover a range of automotive services, from drivability and suspensions to diesel and exhaust systems, all while ensuring safety and environmental standards are met. must have a valid 310S/310 T license or Registered as a level 2 Apprentice minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct repairs on Dodge Trucks (1500 Ecodiesel up to Ram 5500, Promasters, Sprinter vans ) and fleet vehicles, handling diesel and truck systems with diagnostic precision
Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure they meet quality standards
Perform maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake inspections, and more
Communicate additional recommended work to the Service Advisor or Shop Foreman
Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure necessary parts are available for repairs
Maintain cleanliness of the customers vehicle
Follow all safety regulations and handle hazardous waste according to standards
Stay updated on the latest technical services, tools, and safety training (e.g., WHMIS)
Assist other technicians and apprentices and adapt quickly to changing tasks

Strong customer service skills and professionalism in all interactions
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple overlapping tasks with composure
Diagnostic skills with Ford-provided technical assistance tools (e.g., Technical Hotline)
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Positive attitude, team spirit, and a drive to succeed
Education & Experience:
College diploma in an automotive program required or Registered apprentice
Provincially licensed as an Automotive Service Technician by the Ontario College of Trades
Valid G Class Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract
Minimum two years’ experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, specifically in diesel and truck systems (preferred)
Special Conditions:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
Familiarity with hand and power tools consistent with industry standards
