Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cardiovascular procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Perform diagnostic tests with accuracy including Stress Echos, ECGs, ABI, Holter Monitoring.
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth workflow in the cardiovascular department.
- Provide excellent patient care during all tests.
- Be able to work collaboratively with other technicians and receptionists.
Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent credential is mandatory.
- Prior experience in performing stress testing, ECG, Holter Monitoring is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed protocols accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and providing compassionate patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
