Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Welder/Fitter and become a vital part of our fabrication and construction projects! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for welding, fitting, and assembling metal components with precision and skill. Your expertise will help bring complex projects to life, ensuring they meet safety standards and quality expectations. We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to innovative manufacturing and construction solutions. Duties and Responsibilities
- Fit and weld large industrial lifting equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Assist in mechanical assembly of related technologies
- Skilled in MCAW, FCAW and SAW processes, SMAW
- Ensure O'Brien Source's safety policies and procedures are always followed
- Complete daily timesheets
- Works independently as well as in a team environment
- Utilizes problem solving skills
- Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair technology
- Other duties as assigned
