We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder for a client in St. Catharines that specializes in manufacturing industrial equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MIG welding on various metal components, ensuring quality welds while following safety and production standards.
Job Details:
- Location: St. Catharines, ON
- Pay Rate: $23/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Start Date: Wednesday, August 5
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel components and industrial equipment assemblies
- Read and interpret basic welding drawings and measurements
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform grinding, fitting, and other fabrication tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and use proper PPE
Qualifications:
- Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to perform quality welds with attention to detail
- Experience working with steel and industrial equipment is an asset
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow work instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check

- Candidates will be required to complete a weld test as part of the hiring process.
