Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Front of House Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and delivering a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during service
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations
- Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any issues professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, tipping, and cash handling purposes
- Experience with serving, upselling, and providing guest services in a hospitality setting is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: $17.60-$27.52 per hour
