As a Quality Inspector you will be tasked with the monitoring, investigation and resolution of product or process quality concerns. Responsible for the implementation of the quality assurance program for our Versatile Tractor line.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct product inspections in assembly
- Prepare inspection reports and presenting inspecting results
- Provide process/product improvement initiatives to improve overall product quality.
- Investigate non-conformances and determine disposition of non-conforming/defective parts or components; including tagging, report writing/documenting and return/cost recovery
- Liaise with suppliers, engineering, service, purchasing and shop floor staff to develop corrective action plans for non-conforming parts/processes
Qualifications:
- Technologist Diploma/Certificate in Quality Assurance or Quality Control preferred.
- Good computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 2 years practical shop floor experience in quality
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong problem solving abilities and an attention to details.
- General knowledge of blue print reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with ISO 9000 certification preferred
- Work periods in shop and in the office
