Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in electrical trade and have flexibility on working hours and can expect minimum 40 hours/week. OVERTIME periodically available and is as follows; 1-1/2 time after 8hrs/day, double time after 10hrs/day, double time weekends. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with a wide variety of electrical tasks ranging from panel installs to commercial & industrial lighting, pump controls while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Starting wage will be according to experience.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
Experience
- Willing to work with the right individual to train in areas not previously experienced in.
- A background in maintenance person services can be beneficial for this role.
