Automotive Mechanic
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience performing basic mechanical repairs, vehicle inspections, and maintenance. Previous automotive repair experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical or safety issues.
- Diagnose basic mechanical problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Perform oil changes, brake services, suspension repairs, battery replacements, and other routine maintenance.
- Replace worn or damaged parts as required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Test drive vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.
- Communicate repair findings with the service manager.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an automotive mechanic is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical systems.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and identify repair needs.
- Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and routine maintenance.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is preferred.
- Automotive certifications are an asset but not required.
