We have a millwright position available for millwrights who will be tasked with responding to, assessing and carrying out call out repairs while also directing other millwrights. This position will require clear communication with our customers and vendors, scheduling jobs, ordering and picking up parts, ensuring quality control and assessing and controlling hazards and safety.
Skills and Experience
- Mechanical repairs on production equipment, conveyors, compactors etc.
- Hydraulic/pneumatic repairs and installations.
- Rigging and moving large machinery components.
- Precision machine fitting.
- Reading schematics and blue prints.
- Welding in multiple processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical field repairs with no supervision.
- Diagnose problems and organize solutions.
- Perform industrial installations and maintenance shutdowns.
- Carry out precise and accurate fitting and mechanical work with minimal supervision.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with a team on diverse and challenging projects.
