Business Development Manager
At Bela Logistics, we are seeking a driven Business Development Manager with a passion for growing revenue and expanding market share. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new customers, building long-term relationships, and developing existing accounts. You will focus on selling our local (Power-Only) and over-the-road transportation solutions through our asset-based divisions.
You will collaborate with our Operations and Logistics teams to provide tailored solutions for our clients. This position combines inside sales, account management, and logistics, providing an exciting opportunity to shape the growth of our business.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify new Regional, National, and North American business opportunities through cold calling, internet research, CRM accounts, referrals, trade shows, and networking.
- Present Bela Logistics' comprehensive service offerings and develop strategies to penetrate accounts across various service lines.
- Conduct client visits to introduce our company and present logistics solutions.
- Work closely with the internal operations team to develop pricing strategies, customize solutions, and ensure long-term customer growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at multiple levels within client organizations.
- Coordinate with the accounting team to set up new clients, including handling credit and billing instructions.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in the logistics industry, with a solid understanding of both asset-based.
- Extensive knowledge of over-the-road, dry van, and courier services, including over-dimensional shipments.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to prospect and close deals, with a tenacious “Hunter” mindset.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate gatekeepers and reach decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce, with strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Passion for sales, attention to detail, and the drive to exceed expectations.
- A team-oriented approach with a willingness to travel as needed.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
