In our clubs, our Fitness Sales Consultant plays a very important role. They work hard day in and day out to provide members with customized Personal Training programs, knowledge, and motivation to achieve their personal fitness goals. Your typical work day will be both rewarding and educational, and you will use your knowledge and energy to motivate clients to push themselves to their full potential.

The Role
Our Fitness Sales Consultant will report directly to the Personal Training Manager and is responsible for continuously improving the Personal Training service offering. You will also:
  • Ensure that new Club members are scheduled for initial Personal Training consultations in a timely manner
  • Ensure existing Personal Training clients are scheduled for retests every three months
  • Schedule and conduct all Fitness Assessments for new members in accordance with set structures, standards, and protocols
  • Schedule Personal Training demos and/or group orientation classes in a timely manner
  • Match Personal Training packages with the needs of the client (based on fitness assessment results, equipment, fitness experience and goals of the member).
  • Maintain regular contact with Personal Training clients to retain and motivate them to meet their health goals
  • Accountable to maintain and upgrade certifications to provide highest level of service to clients
The Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Post-secondary education related to health and fitness industry is an asset
  • Additional certifications or workshops related to health, fitness, sales and customer service are strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of sales experience an asset
  • Current CPR is required and must be maintained through employment
