Hillside Physiotherapy is an established and growing multidisciplinary clinic in the charming town of Rockwood, ON. Our fully-accessible clinic is in a beautiful building which is a clean, airy, and bright space with plenty of natural light. Physiotherapist owned, the focus of the clinic is the needs of the client and their goals to move better and feel better. We strive to be warm, welcoming and supportive to both clients and practitioners.
We offer flexible hours, a fully furnished massage room with hydraulic bed, linens and laundry included with administrative support. We are offering an independent contractor position with a competitive 70/30 percentage split, negotiable depending on years of experience. We currently have one part time casual RMT.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments to determine their specific needs and preferences
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Provide various massage techniques to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and improve overall well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments and progress
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction during the massage session
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines in the practice of massage therapy
- must be currently registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and understand their needs
- Ability to adapt massage techniques based on individual patient conditions and preferences
- Strong attention to detail and ability to provide a high level of care and professionalism
As a Massage Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of your clients.
