About the role
Reporting to the Program Manager Platform, Canadian Surface Combatant. The successful candidate will support the coordination and ongoing operations of the Canadian Surface Combatant Project including organizing, facilitating deliverables, program reviews and contract change amendments.
The PM coordinator works both independently and on project teams on assignments varying widely in scope and complexity.
Duties will include:

Coordinating the development and delivery of Change Order Proposals (COPs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for the Platform team

Working closely with Lockheed Martin sourcing, technical, contracts, and planning teams as well as the customer and subcontractors/vendors to facilitate delivery of Platform change artifacts

Assisting the program, sourcing and technical teams with the coordination of vendor furnished information

Preparing presentation material for weekly team meetings, progress review meetings and program integration team meetings

Performing the duties of Control Account Manager for program management related budgets

Support the program team with metrics and program status
What you bring to the role
- College diploma or Bachelor Commerce or equivalent experience
-
3-5 years’ experience in the defence industry

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to interact with all levels within the organization

Ability to understand new concepts quickly

Strong organizational and planning skills

Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

Works collaboratively in a team environment
